Usually S.M.S. S.p.A. S.B. is mandated to carry out the work with the role of general contractor. In such cases, it acts directly with the subcontractors of which it takes care of the management and organization.
The General Contractor is responsible for the whole subsystem project and has overall operational responsibility for a construction or plant project.
